Where's my Creative lighting easytab?

I purchased PhotoImpact 12 SE on Ebay a few weeks back, upgrading from my PhotoImpact XL. Today I noticed that some of the features of XL were missing in 12. I checked the help file and they are supposed to be there, but they aren't. The help file also says that it's possible to get to the creative lighting menu by going to effects:lighting>creative lighting. But the only thing I have under lighting is something called lights that has to do with a spotlight effect. All of the other lighting presets are missing.

Has anyone else had any trouble accessing the creative lighting menu from PhotoImpact 12 SE. I'm using it on Windows XP and an AMD processor.

Any advice you can give would be appreciated.

It might be that fact that yours is a SE version which are "teasers" bundled with some hardware. They are usually not for sale unless bundled with the qualifying hardware. Being teasers, they usually do not provide all the functions in order to entice one to buy the full version.

yeah, I was afraid of that. I thought I had made a phenomenol deal only to find out that I bought a teaser product instead. But, on the good side I can upgrade to X3 now rather than paying full retail price.

I'm going to go drown my sorrows now in Peanut Butter Cookies and 7-UP. $@&$&@$%
