burning files to dvd

Hi my problem is how to join intervideo windvd files after downloading to enable burning to dvd so I can view on stand alone dvd player. the conversion programme I have wont handle these files. Can anyone help please.?

WinDVD is a viewing program.
To create a DVD you need one of the following

WinDVD Creator
VideoStudio
MovieFactory
DVD Workshop 2

VOB files are what you get on a DVD Video - those that you buy from the shop or rent from Blockbuster.

WinDVD Creator will allow you to edit a DVD Video created on a re-writeable disc from a DVD Recorder - it does not allow you to import standard DVD Video discs. To do that you would need a program along the lines of Videostudio in which case the procedure is here:
