Hi,
Back when I was using UVS 9 (I'm using 11 now) I seem to recall a certain video effect that would create a constant strobing motion. I don't remember what it was called because I only saw it once or twice while messing around with effects, but I was assuming that it would have been transferred to 11.
It was an effect that would basically cause "blinks" during the video and you could adjust the speed and after a little tweaking you could make it coincide with your background music beat. I know there's a "Strobe Motion" effect but that just seems to lower the framerate. Any ideas?
Looking for a certain effect, help please?

Welcome to the forums,
I pulled up VS9 and it has all the same Video Filters as does VS10 and VS11, especially the Strobe Motion filter. In fact the Strobe Motion filter was introduced with VS9. Were you perhaps using some third party video filters such as FX Bench?

Thanks for the welcome.
I'm pretty certain that it was already implemented into the program without any 3rd party software. Do you think I may have been using more than one video filter at the same time? I really just want to add a flickering effect that I can control the speed of and how often it occurs and have it coincide with the drums/background beat in my audio file.
Sorry if there's any confusion. An example of what I'm talking about is... say a drum loop is added to the audio track. And a video to the video track. What I'd like to happen is for the video to "blink" or "strobe" every time the drum hit occurs.
