Music Track not playing on final DVD or ISO

Hi all,

I created a project using Ulead VideoStudio 11 Trial downloaded from the Web. All was good, burned my project and all was playing properly.

Then, I went to the store and bought a retail version of it in order to get the Update and Power Pack. So I uninstalled Trial version, then Installed the retail version + Power + Update pack.

Now, when I generate the final DVD or ISO file, the music track is not playing at all. It does play when in Editing mode, and it even play from the Preview windows of the Authoring Windows... BUT it does NOT play in the final DVD.

The video sound is playing as well as the voice track, but not the music track.

Has anyone been having this problem or know about what to do to fix that. I read the manual completely and searched the web for solutions without success.

More info...

It actually looks like the problem is not from the track itself, but from the MP3. I moved everything from the Music track to the Voice track and it's the same probleme. However, the SoundTrack music plays right, but not my mp3...

Any idea anyone?!

Convert the mp3 to standard .wav format. Video Studio has trouble with mp3 audio produced by certain codecs, and most especially LameMP3...

Thanks for answering. Yeah, I saw that in other posts and this is what I tried last night. I really thought that would fix the problem, but no. The problem is still the same. Since I uninstalled the trial version and installed the retail one, only the SmartSound music is playing (voice or music track). My music does not play (mp3 or wav), although it plays no problem in the Project and in the dvd authoring preview window.

I purchased a support incident from Corel and I will ask them why is this happening. Hopefully they'll be able to fix the problem. I will post the solution here when I find it.
