DVD MovieFactory 5 for Sanyo + Vista

Hey,

i've problems with my DVD MovieFactory 5 for Sanyo.
If i try to burn a DVD, the system kills the Ulead-process after about 5%.

So i tried to install the updates. Therefore i downloaded the updates (Service Pack 1 and the latest updates). But wehn i try to install the updates (in german) i get the following error: The setup couldn't find Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5 on the system...

Could somebody help me to fix this problem?

Sorry but the updates will not work with the Sanyo version, it is a Special Edition (SE) version and although "fully working" is not the same as the 'Full Version'. Think of it as you would a never ending free trial.

Out of interest - will the Sanyo version accept JPG images for slide shows.
The similar "Free version" supplied for Toshiba laptops does not.

I've got a similar problem on WinXP ... create a project, try to burn to DVD and then it crashes. Patches fail to find the application.

So, the question is, how do I get a movie onto a DVD? It maybe a 'free' trial, but if it doesn't work, I ain't going to buy the full version!
