Apply Transition

Post by PZJM »

Hi Folks,

I am trying to apply transition themes to a video production. However, the only way I can do this is to use all the themes. Is there a way to apply just one theme randomly? For example, how about the F/X or custom transitions?

Thanks...

Are you using the Movie Wizard or in the Editor? You can apply whatever transitions you wish. If you are using the Wizard, after the Wizard dumps you into the editor, just select the transitions you want to change, then drag and drop the transition of you liking ontop of the transition you no longer want.

You can do everything that the wizard does in the editor. It's just the wizard takes a lot of the manual work out of it.

But if you want to automatically insert transitions, it's either one certain transition or a random choice from all transitions. So if I understand your questions, you can't have, say, F/X transitions automatically inserted.

I understand the concept of adding one or two transitions. However, if I have 20 or more that I need filled I would like to apply random transitions of a specific theme. The only option I see is "apply random transitions", and that uses all the themes. I just want to populate the slideshow/video with random transitions from my favorites.

Thanks...

Hi

Yes that¡¦s a bit poor, I am using the trial VS 11.

I was aware that ¡¥favourite¡¦ transitions were available in vs11. Sounds like a good step by Corel.
Auto inserting of transitions can be selected from Preferences-edit.

When you insert clips the transitions are automatically inserted.

If you have clips already inserted without transitions, the only way is manual approach, one at a time. ( note---double clicking a transition will insert to the first available space)

Unfortunately the ¡¦favourites¡¦ cannot be accessed from ¡¥Preferences¡¦ and are therefore a manual process. ( that¡¦s how I see it ) and that¡¦s a pity.

Anyhow once you have created the Favourites library, a random double click will soon fill 20 spaces.
