Engine can't reuse playlist/vob/img and do pre-check action
What does this burn log entry indicate when burn fails using MF4/MF4SE?
It means "Engine can't reuse playlist/vob/img and do pre-check action"
Don't you love those messages?
Have you used the program before burning dvd's without any problems?
Is this the first time that message has come up?
Almost sounds like a corrupted installation of the program, only guessing though.
Maybe cleanup the computers temporary files, reboot and try again.
Haven't run MF4 is quite awhile. I've never came across that message when I did have it installed.

Tried everything except 1) singularly joining vids in the playlist and 2)uninstalling and re-installing MF (reportedly pretty risky, can damage your burner) w/o resolve.
Thanks for the reply anyway.
If that's true then my 5 yr old burner should be toast by now. I've uninstalled/reinstalled DMF from DVDMF4 DC (Disc Creator version) up to and including the current release more times than Carter has pills. My ol' burner keeps on tickin'...

I think I was careful to say "reportedly".
Not certain now, but I think it could even have been a ULead forum topic I found some articles on MF upgrades causing burner issues, however I could also have found such when googling the topic.
I do recall that nobody refuted the reported burner issues, at least in the articles I found.
Nice to hear someone has had success at it.
