VS11

Post by girly »

I have been trying VS11 in demo mode and now am in the last 4 days. When I click on try the program will not load - any suggestions as I do not want to buy the full program until I am sure it will work - which it has been doing until now.

Have you checked the System Event Viewer, to see if it shows any errors or warnings? In XP in the control panel click on the Performance and Maintainence, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer.

When you have tried launching VS, does it just not launch, show an error message, cause your system to hang or freeze? Try opening the Task Manager to see if it shows the application, which would be Untitled-Ulead VideoStudio 11.0, in the Processes tab would be the executable file-vstudio.exe.

I am using Vista but cannot see anything unusual in event viewer. I tried Task Manager but the program was not showing. I click on try and I get the circle icon or hourglass in XP but nothing happens. I used the program earlier today and it was ok.

Try re-booting the computer.
Do NOT mess with the computers date/time it will immediately disable the trial version.
