Corrupted .AVI file please HELP!

Hi I recently created a 1 hour .AVI file using Camtasia Studio 5. When I went to create a DVD with Ulead 5 I could not find the file. I then found out my .AVI file was corrupted. I went online and found DivX Repair.exe and was able to save half of my recording.

Are any of you aware of another software I could use to repair my file?
Do you know what could be the issue?

I have made 29 other recordings that all work great, for some reason this one has challenges.

Oh, i am using a Dell Latitude D430 laptop, with Windows XP pro.

have u tried Nero Vision? That may be able to read your file.
