MF6+ Launcher Fails to Load New Project Page

I downloaded the trial of MF 6+. After working for eleven days, the launcher fails to load new project page (or anything that i choose from the launcher).

I have not downloaded anything new to my laptop since I installed MF6+ that would interfere with the program.

I followed the instructions to do a repair. Unsuccessful - program still did not launch. I did clean reinstall, and that did not work, either.

The launcher will come up, but when I click 'new video project', the launcher disappears, as before, but instead of the program starting, the launcher then comes back.

I attempted to launch the program from Start > Programs > Ulead MovieFactory 6, but that did not work either.

My system information is on my profile, all except my motherboard, which I could not find, using any tools/my BIOS. This is a relatively new laptop (bought approx. one year ago).

I really loved this program - I had every intention of purchasing it at the end of my trial period.

If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
