VS11 not recognizing XH-A1

My PURCHASED copy of VS11+ with patch and bonus Power Pack works great with my Pannasonic GS320. It does not work with my new Canon XH-A1. When plugging in the firewire, my computer recognizes it, but the capture-device window in VS11 is blank.
The XH-A1 DOES capture with Windows Movie Maker, and my TRIAL copies of Ulead Media Studio 8, and Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8.

Are there any specific patches to solve this problem?
