How do I import shapes from an older version of PhotoImpact?

Post by webgirl6 »

I have been using PI 5 for about 6 years and recently bought PI 11. I really miss my old "custom shapes". :( I still have both programs on my computer and want to merg both librarys together so I have the best of both worlds. Can this be done? I there a place online to be able to get more?

Thank You!

Take a look at my tutorial for creating DVD Menus from scratch, I think that it will cover the issue of saving and loading libraries.
You custom shapes are an easy palette library - like the DVD Menus in my article. Once I created them and later upgraded PhotoImpact i was then able to import those libraries to the newer version.
I created these in PhotoImpact 11 - this screen shot shows them imported into PhotoImpact X3
