What is the preferred method of organizing file folders with video files from a completed project? I recently changed computers saving all my projects over to the new hard-drive, only to find when I opened up a completed Project (one where a movie was rendered), everything had to be relinked.
This obviously caused many problems, with loss of trimmed clips, missing music, transitions, etc...
I'd love to hear others ideas of organizing. It would useful if there is a hard drive loss and one just wanted to restore the files.
Thanks again.

- System_Drive: C
- 32bit or 64bit: 32 Bit
- motherboard: Equium P200-178
- processor: Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor T2080
- ram: 2 GB
- Video Card: Intel 945 Express
- sound_card: Intel GMA 950
- Hard_Drive_Capacity: 1160 GB
- Location: Birmingham UK
If you are moving a project to another computer then everything used in that project - sound files, videos, images etc. must also be moved and placed in the same directory locations as the original.
VideoStudio 11 now contains a new option
File | Package
When you use this it wil gather all of your material together into one common folder. You should then be able to move that entire folder to the new computer and if you place it in the same location everything should e linked.
