MISSING TRANSITIONS

Post by ramdaspillai »

Hi,

I have copies the burgers' transition and several extras including sound clips etc from various sources into ULead VA11+ respective folders. But, these are not showing in the list when I open the program. I have rechecked that all the files are there in the program files folders.

Can any one help with this.

Also, there was a work around for transition from VS 10 to VS 11 (transferring extra stuff). I would appreciate if any one gives link to that forum posting so that I can do it again.

Thanks

If the Burger's Transitions are not showing in VS11's Effects Library, you just need to reinstall them. I've found that even though it says you can just copy the VFX files into the vfx-plug-ins folder, VS doesn't always pick them up.

We no longer have the information concerning transferring transitions/effects from earlier versions available. We found that it is not advisable to do so. Changes made from VS10 to VS11 so that VS11 could be fully Vista compatible, required certain transitions be dropped. If you're running VS11 on an XP machine, all the transitions will be installed and working. You get the same amount of transitions and Video Filters with each version.

If you're experiencing loosing all the video filters then read the following thread: http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 7692#87692

TRANSITIONS

Post by ramdaspillai »

Hi,

I have deleted the burget transitions and re-copied them to the vfx folder. Still it doesn't show in the UVS 11+ menu. Similarly, the album transitions and a few others are also not showing up though the files exist in the program file folder.

Similar is the case with some of the audio files and images etc.

The second problem is the installation of bugers FX filter. I have installed them but it is not showing in the UVS 11+. Do I need to re-install UVS 11+. If so can you please give the forum link so that I can get the step-by-step instructions.

Thanks

Try forcing a rebuild of your Video Filters in your library manager by deleting the following file

C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0\VFilter.rsf

Replace Stephen with your XP user name.

TRANSITIONS

Post by ramdaspillai »

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
Ever since I loaded VS+ with the powerpack update, it is giving me hard time.
I did rebuild the filters .rsf file and I got back the filters.
However, the transitions are missing (many of them : Album, burgers etc.).

Now I notice that I cannot import VOB files. I searched for H264VDecHPDII files and I found only one file is present.

Capturing hangs at the end of "Capture Stop". I have to reboot and load the files from hard disk directly to the Ulead library.

All sorts of problems. Can you HELP please.
