I have just brought and downloaded 3DPS, and i am having the following problems, as in this email i sent to support!allas no reply as yet, does anyone else have any ideas to fix this pls, also why cant they just put all the programs on a disc and put it in the post ,rather than these painfull downloads?
Dear Patrick after our conversation on the telephone please find the details you requested,
I am running,
windows vista home premium, 32 bit
processer, intel(R) core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz 2.4GHz
memory (RAM) 3071 MB.
I am having trouble with cool 3D Production studio,
I have tried to re-install using windows compatibility wizard to try to solve the problems!
Problem1: once installed I open up the cool 3d program and then open the component downloads tab shown below,
Presets Preset 1 (C3DS1_Preset1_E.exe)
30 MB
Preset 2 (C3DS1_Preset2_E.exe)
33 MB
Preset 3 (C3DS1_Preset3_E.exe)
22 MB
Materials Video & Audio files (C3DS1_Materials.exe)
31 MB
Models & Samples 3D Models and Sample files (C3DS1_Model_Sample.exe)
22 MB
Help & Manual Help & Manual Files (C3DS1_ESD_Help_E.exe)
8 MB
But I am unable to download Preset 3 (C3DS1_Preset3_E.exe)
Problem 2: after I have installed all of the components above except preset 3 I am missing some effects from the palette, which I assume are to do with preset 3 which I cannot download,? Also again from the easy palette I cannot load any of the video backgrounds that are there from the other files I downloaded and installed ,into a new project,
Problem 3: Also cannot view ,
Help & Manual Help & Manual Files (C3DS1_ESD_Help_E.exe) after installing.
I hope you can help as this is driving me mad!
Thanks
Paul.

First welcome to the forums,
Now as you should know, Cool3D PS is not supported by Vista. However some have been able to get it to run on Vista. If you succeed, don't be alarmed if it crashes on you occasionally.
Read this thread on how to do this..

Sorry if you this sounds like I am telling you off - I am not. Please Read This Before posting wrote:SUBJECT: Please use a subject that describes your exact problem instead of making us guess what's in your post.
You can alter the title by using the

The purpose of providing a meaningful title is this.
There are a number of members on the forum who try and help troubleshoot problems - myself included. In the early days of the user forum it was not too difficult to be able to read all of the posts submitted since the last time I (or one of the other troubleshooters) had logged on.
On the Forum Home page at the top right is a link
view posts since last visit In the forums early days this would perhaps range between 10-30 posts. Today however the board has grown in popularity and more products are now catered for including the former Intervideo products before the merger with Ulead.
There have been days when I have logged on to find over 70 new posts since my last visit. It is of course impossible to read each and every one of them and so it is necessary to look at the titles to pick out posts where I feel I am able to offer some worthwhile input.
if you are viewing perhaps the VideoStudio forum and a post is entitled
"VideoStudio" - it doesn't really give you a clue, similarly in the PhotoImpact forum a post entitled [PhotoImpact] is equally as meaningless.
Giving a post a suitable title is a means of helping us to help you.

I just downloaded that file from the Ulead website. However I also uploaded it to my driveway account, so you can get it from there..
