rendering file problem

hello i just wanted to make a dvd
1 the direct dv to dvd wizard dosent work with sony dcr pc 109 e
2 i captured my movie from cam and straight away wanted save as file in share tab
but it rendered for for 5 hrs
what should i do
video format mpeg-2
file format ntsc dvd
attribute 24 bit 720*480
frame rate 29990 /sec
data rate variable bit rate(max9000 kbps)
