Saving Files?

Post by n3vpc »

In VS10plus, when you finish burning a project to DVD disk, the
program gives a box up saying “saving project”.

Saving the project to where?

That's deceptive, as it is kind of saving it, however it really does not save the project until in the editor you choose to save.

After burning a disc, folders or ISO file, when you close VS, you get a prompt asking if you wish to save your project. That is when you need to save it, providing a name and location on your system. If not, then nothing is saved.

...or to be perfectly clear, the auto save does in fact work, but only as long as you don't close Video Studio as a whole. Once the program is closed, the auto saved file, wherever it is, is lost. In other words, do as Ron says and save manually...
