Studio 11, unable to add chapter

At creation of a disk the option to add the chapter(manually) does not work. This point is inactive. Also video does not work in a window of viewing.

Have you applied all updates and patches?

Update and Power Pack

Also make sure you have the latest DirectX

P.S. I do not understand why anywhere to system it is not specified in requirements???

When you install VideoStudio it checks to see if you have DirectX and the installation files contain a copy which will be installed if necessary.
You can check your version of DirectX by clicking the
Windows Start Button | Run | dxdiag
