Fading To Black

Post by cubaboy »

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to fade from either a picture or a video clip to black on then back again. Is there a transition to do this??

I'm using Video studio 9

Thanks

Choose the Effect... "Fade to Black" from the transitions library.

Place a black color block in between the two items then use the crossfade transition. The color blocks are available from the same drop down menu as the transistions. filters etc.
There is also a "fade to black" transition under the FX tab of the same menu.
