I am using VS11plus to create project using both still images and video.
I am simultaneously playing back still image and video. overlay track 1 is video and overlay track2 is still image with solid black color on the main track. for the still images i am using panning feature. after completing the project it plays back fine. I then render it "create video file" to NTSC DVD 4:3 format. Then using Movie factory 6 I burned a DVD and when I play it back on my dvd player the video is ok but the size of the still images changes erratically. I played the video file on MF6 prior to burning the dvd and it played fine. Why is the still image size changes erratically when I play it back on my dvd player.

This is a little strange since it previews fine, and only shows when playing back on your DVD player.
I'm curious as to why you put a black color matte on the main video track? If you don't have any video or images on the main track, the background is still black without adding the color matte. That is unless you changed the background color in Preferences dialog.
Next are you playing the video and images as PIP (picture in picture), or Split Screen?
What are the properties of your source video file(s)? Are you maintaining the proper field order for the video file?

Still image size change on DVD playback
Found the culprit, it was my DVD player causing this problem.
Vidoman, I put black as the background cuz I have the overlay tracks video and still image moving off screen so I wanted a black background,
At the time I didnt think to set the color in the preferences.
Thanks for the feedback.
