Want DVD to Return to Disk Menu After Each Track Played

Want DVD to Return to Disk Menu After Each Track Played
Hi Folks,
I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I did several searches of the Corel User to User forums but found no relevant answers. I have been successfully burning various DVDs with VideoStudio 11+, but my enquiry may well apply to VideoStudio generally.
So far the DVDs that I've burnt will then play one track after another without return to the disk menu until after the end of the final track. However, I would like to burn DVDs that return to the disk menu after each track, just like some big-studio DVDs do.
My questions are as follows:
1. Is there an option in VideoStudio that would enable me to burn a DVD such that it returns to the disk menu after each track?
2. Failing that, does anyone know of other software or techniques that I could use to tweak the output from VideoStudio so that a DVD does return to the disk menu after each track?
I'd be most grateful for any help on this issue.
Thanks, Don.

Thanks for that post, but I have already tried that setting. All it does is to control the action taken after the final track on a disk is played. What I really need is to control the action taken after each track on a disk is played.lancecarr wrote:When you go to Share/Create Disc and the DVD burning module opens look down to the left for a little "Gear wheel" icon. Click on that and at the bottom are the "Clip Playback" choices. You can select to "Return to Menu" or "Play Next Clip."
On playback I need a disk to return to the menu after each track is played, not just after the last. Can anyone help?
Thanks, Don.

Thanks for that post too. I can confirm that I had already seen that useful diagram when I used the tutorials to educate myself in the use of VideoStudio. However, re-reading it in isolation has raised a question in my mind, because it only shows video clips (Titles) set for "Return to Menu". Whereas, it only shows chapters set for "Play Next Clip" (except the last), as one might expect.
As I never use chapters we can rule out me mistakenly using chapters. So, could VideoStudio 11+ be treating my video clips (Titles) as if they were chapters with respect to "Play Next Clip" for some reason, instead of obeying the "Return to Menu" setting?
No matter what I do I cannot get video clips (Titles) to return to menu (except after the final track on a DVD). I've been trying for weeks, but it's completely frustrating. I've even tried clearing the cache, but no joy.
Regards, Don.

I have now added an extra bit onto the end of the above tutorial which hopefully should make things more clear.
Title menu, Chapter Menu, Play Next clip etc.

Thanks again for your kind responses. Yes, sjj1805's addition to the tutorial should make things clearer for novices. However, I was already doing all that it mentioned for burning a DVD of several video clips (Titles) with a Title Menu but not using Chapters. I had also explored the possible use of various other options even if I didn't actually use them when burning a DVD.
Since sjj1805's last post, I did add Chapters without Chapter Menus to my DVD of several video clips (Titles) with Title Menu, in order to see if that made any difference to my latest project. However, it made no difference, so I gave up and settled for "Return to Menu" only happening after the final video clip (Title).
Then more reecntly, I restarted an earlier project that I had mothballed while awaiting some resources. To my complete surprise, and delight, this project does now "Return to Menu" after each and every video clip (Title). Now I'm really confused, because I followed exactly the same steps as with the other project.
I can only think that, perhaps, a Windows Update might have changed something, but I don't care as it now works okay.
Thanks for all your help.
Regards, Don.

Couple of things to check:
1) have you checked the "Play all clips first before menu" option (it should not be checked)
2) where are you adding the different clips (Titles)
To the VideoStudio timeline, and then taking the timeline to the authoring module -- or going into the authoring module, and adding the different Titles individually

George

excellent problem solved, i just wonder when UVS can have function that i can add subtitle in .srt format with on/off function when playback and support multi subtitle languages (this make our custom video no different with hollywood style).and then UVS will become best of top video edit, i did used powerdirector + EMC + Nerovision...as i found UVS is the best except for subtitle..
Thanks for the posts, but I must stress that I had already tried everything suggested and the problem persisted with that project which simply wouldn't work as required re Return to Menu. As an IT pro I'm no slouch at using software correctly either.
After wasting far too much time & effort on it, I gave up and settled for what it did manage to do. That project is done & dusted now, and I simply won't revisit it again regardless of the puzzlement factor.
Moreover, as more recent projects do work as required with the very same settings, I don't see the point in any further posts and suggest that this thread be closed now.
Subtitles seem completely off-topic, so I would suggest a separate thread for that.
Thanks again.
