Content Pack

Post by mauiwh »

Hi:

I downloaded the content Pack and it does not self install? The images are there but I thought it would place them in the Ulead folder?

First did you download them from your email link? The file extension (last three to the right of the ".") should be exe. That is recognized by Windows as a self executing file. EXE files should initialize when you double-click on them.

If the file you downloaded is a zip file, then you will need to unzip, or extract the contents of the zip file. Then look for a file called setup.exe.

Update

Post by mauiwh »

Here is what I found out. The content pack link worked and installed all files correctly. It's the bonus file that when I duble click on it extracts all files and puts them on my desk top. The folder contains videos, frames. etc...... how do I get these into my ulead program. Why does it not put it in the Ulead files? The confusion this, the file on my desk top is called:

Ulead VideoStudio ContentPack

but it was extracted when I launched the bonus.exe file?

Sorry,

Only those files that have a setup.exe, which would be the VCD/DVD Disc Image recorder, and WinDVD will install. The rest of the files/samples, you need to manually copy/paste or move them to your hard drive.

You can place those files wherever you like on your hard drive (otherwise you would need to insert the CD each time).

You then use the library manager to create thumbnails for them.
When you use the "open" function in the library manager it does not copy the file, it creates a shortcut link to it.
