problem with sound
Hey all --
Suddenly I seem to be having a problem adding sound to my video files.
I can no longer add ac3 or mp3 files. I'm using the cccp codecs. I've tried k-lite, but neither seems to work. The program just locks up.
Any suggestions?
I really appreciate this!
Thanks

It won't accept the ac3 file. DWS freezes up when I try to ad the audio file. If I use a .wav file, it's fine & I can create a dvd w/ac3 sound. I just can't seem to ad an audio file that's ac3 already,
Note: This wasn't a problem 2 wks ago.
Thanks again

Remove the codec pack: that is probably your problem. There are often buggy codecs that upset other software in those packs.

I suspect it could be something to do with that codec pack - which although you have now removed it - might have caused some other form of corruption possibly changed or deleted some dll files.
Try Re-Installing DVDWS using the clean reinstallation procedure.
