I have recently updated the Ulead VS 11+ with the update pack and then the Powerpack. I was able to render a few video. However, when I wanted to use a filter, the filter line is missing from the drop down menu.
I have spent quite a lot of time to copy and paste the transitions and the like from VS 9 and VS10.
Can any one help with this. Do I have to remove and reinstall it. How can i reinstall without loosing the copied transitions and frames etc.
Thanks
Pillai

You have to close VideoStudio and then delete VFilter.rsf from the following location
C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen\Application
Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0
Substitute Stephen with your Windows User name.
Restart VideoStudio and it will recreate the deleted file and you should find the filters are back to the state they were when you first installed the program.

Thanks a lot sjj for your quick reply.
I am out of home now and shall try this evening.
Meanwhile, I observed that many of the usual auto video templates are missing in my application.
Also the album transitions are missing. so are some of the sample videos.
Is there any way I can get it. Any site where I can download this and also more of similar templates etc. Ofcourse I know of burger's free transition site and have them included.
Regards,
Pillai

Please go to the directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen\Application
Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\11.0
Substitute Stephen with your Windows User name.
You will now see several files and if you look at their names you will be able to identify which other files you need to delete as the names are meaningful. You only asked about filters and that file is aptly named Vfilter.rsf - I am not at home right now so unable to tell you the other file names.

Have you installed the VS 11/VS11+ Content and Bonus CD Files
Just downloaded the trial version of VS11+
Are they limiting some effects (for this version) or I missed something. Couldn¡¦t find this particular ¡§effect¡¨ (don¡¦t know what it called ¡V please refer image below ¡V it¡¦s the lines that move across the screen)

My VS10+ (retail version) doesn¡¦t have this.

Dear sjj,
I do not remember this, it is almost a year since I had this. I have deleted the .rsf file and the filters are back. Thanks a lot.
I did delete an .rsa file and it came back again in the directory. however, i do not know what is file is (i suppose it is the audio files).
is there any other files i should delete from the directory?
I do not have the filter Zamani is asking. Can you help him.
Regards,
Pillai
