I just got this and am trying to burn a short HD clip into a dvd, using a dvd-r media. manual says its possible, but I can't get it to play after burning. nothing shows on dvd, have tried all formats, mpeg 4, mpg2 quicktime, wmv, I render a hd clip Vegas 8 and nothing, It goes thru all the time of burning, saving, etc. but dvd is blank when done, no problem burning a sd dvd. tha works. I need some suggestions please, my jaws are extremely tight about this, I have printed out manual, says HD DVD ok on dvd-r

if you mean the other similar threads I did, didnt help, this should be a straight forward issue, but its not, still need more definitive answer
