X3 Button Designer options grayed out

Post by Greg58 »

Hi,

I have recently installed Photoimpact X3 on a Toshiba Notebook (details below). When i did my evaluation I used PI-12 and was impressed with the button designer. However when I purchased PI-X3 had been released so naturally that was the one I purchased.

However I cannot get the button designer to work. The menu options "Any Shape..." and "Rectangular..." are always greyed out. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forums,

Do you have a project started? (Didn't say if you did or not, and it is not enabled until then). You need to have an object selected to enable that function, do you have an object selected?

I feel a little stupid, you have no idea how long I tried to figure that out. Searched help, google etc. I must have done it accidently with the evaluation version.

Many thanks for both your help and your quick response.
