How to remove "MAY" ad box from Photo Impact 6.0?
Hi - using photoimpact 6.0 in WINXP, I get this annoying animated popup window that has a pic of flowers and says MAY. I've noticed a registry key under ulead photimpact/6.0/product info that is named ADPOSITION and always comes back after I open Photo impact, even if i delete the key first manually. The key and the popup seem related - does anyone know how to get rid of it? thank you.

Ok, the one I mentioned is the only "pop-up" that I've seen affiliated with Ulead products. Is your PI from Ulead or Nova? Nova does license their own PhotoImpact, however the Nova versions generally are about 1 or 2 versions behind Ulead, and have "Pro" attached.

ulead photo impact 6.1 popup
mine is from ULEAD, ive had it a LONG time, since at least 1998 and never been able to kill this stupid popup window, under either WIN98 or WINXP. it is version 6.1, i think they are up to at least 11 by now, but my upgrade philosophy is: if it works, don't screw with it:)
it does what i need in every other way, but i find the popup annoying.
thanks

I have the 3 latest versions installed (11,12, X3). I done a search of my registry and there are no references to ADPOSITION. Hopefully someone that has used PI-6 will be along with better information. In the mean time, you may want to run a spyware and virus check on you PC. This pop-up does not sound like anything Ulead would place in their products..

thanks for your efforts, lived with the thing for 10 years plus, so I guess I'll survive:)
why does this board ask for a chinese language plugin every time i visit it?
