Titles in VS7

I have just started using VS7 for the first time and I am slowly getting the hang of it. I have just put my holiday video on and have edited ok. I want to add a title with a black background at the begining of the movie, but I can't seem to be to able move the timeline so the movie begin at the end of the title, at the moment it playing over the movie. Can someone help??

Hi
Select a colour clip from the library, right hand panel.

Drag the colour clip to the beginning of the timeline.
you can adjust the length of the clip top left (duration)

Set your title under the colour clip.
