VS11 to VS11+, Is there an Upgrade path?

Post by RDK45 »

Hi Folks....I foolishly bought Video Studio 11 when it came out. Historically I have bought the + version, but somehow I messed up.

Is there an easy way to upgrade VS11 to 11+? Or do I have to buy VS11+?

Thanks...RDK

How long ago did you purchase VS? Corel has a 30 day Money Back Guarantee.

Money-Back Guarantee

At Corel, we're proud of our products and we're confident that you'll be satisfied with your purchase. That's why we offer the Corel 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Buy today and if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, Corel will refund your money based on your original method of payment -- excluding any shipping costs. When you contact us about a return, your Corel Customer Service Representatives may inquire as to the reason for your return so we can improve our products and our customer experience.

Please note: Only products purchased directly from Corel qualify for the Corel 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Purchases made from a retailer must be returned to where you made your purchase and are subject to the return policy of that retailer. Transactional License purchases or products within the DRAWings family where the dongle requires a key code are not covered by the guarantee.
So you may be able to work with that. You can also just try contacting Corel Customer Care, and see if they're willing to negotiate a trade of some kind..

vidoman.....Thanks for the idea, but I bought it last Fall and put off installing when I read about the analog passthru problems folks were having. I understand that was fixed, but still have not installed. Version 10 is working just fine and I don't plan to move to VISTA any time soon.

Oh well.......RDK

Yes you're better off using VS10+, at least you have the additional overlay tracks. The only difference is that you can cut clips in the overlay tracks with VS11+. I'd hold off and wait for VS12 or whatever they dream up for the next version.
