Version 8.0 SE to X3 upgrade, is it possible?

I've searched everywhere to find out and haven't found anything yet. Ulead PhotoImpact 8.0 SE is the last version I purchased, can I use the upgrade software to upgrade from my version to X3?

Seems like a big jump and I'm guessing it's not supported, but it would be nice to save a few bucks if it is supported!!!

Owners of the PhotoImpact ® versions listed below are eligible for PhotoImpact X3 upgrade:

* PhotoImpact 12 Full/UPG/SE
* PhotoImpact 11 Full/UPG/SE
* PhotoImpact 10 Full/UPG/SE/SE Basic
