Activation Issues
Activation Issues
I downloaded and installed PI X3 with no problems. During the download I was prompted to register my product and I did. My issue is in activating my product. I've tried everything it said in the knowledge base but am still not getting the prompt to activate my product. Are activation and registration the same thing or do I need to contact tech suppot? Thanks, Geri

You would not contact Tech Support, but rather Customer Care, for this type of issue.
Corel is using the activation along with entering the serial number. When you install the program you need to be connected to the internet. When you enter your serial number you should be prompted to Activate. This is where the program checks to see if the serial number is valid for your copy of the program.
It also provides the option to telephone Corel for activation.

I mistaken PIx3 for the others that I recently installed. Corel has been using an activation for most of their programs, and I suspect all the inherited Ulead programs will probably follow suit very soon.
So with programs such as CorelDraw, PSP, Painter, ect., they have no separate 'Full" download. You have to activate the TBYB.
