edit possibility in moviefactory menu

Post by tete123 »

When I try to customised an existing modele menu, I would like to remove object like button or text but it looks this is not possiblen, the onlmy way was to make them 100 % transparent, is there a way to deletre objects you don't need ?

I asked a similar question a long time ago and I think the basic answer was "NO".... You can "HIDE" objects, which is sort of similar to 100% transparency.

To build upon the answer given above - when you create a DVD Menu what in fact you are creating is a short video that resembles a DVD Menu. Superimposed upon that video are hot spots that when activated cause an event to occur, such as play, next page, goto thumbnail menu etc.

After hiding these buttons the hotspots still remain and so are selectable with the DVD remote control. There are programs available that enable you to remove those hotspots. What you do is to burn the DVD to a hard drive folder and then use a third party program to remove the unwanted hotspots.

Two such programs are PGCEdit (Free) or the easier but not free program MenuEdit.
