Hi - can someone help please?
When I do a DVD capture of a DVD I've recorded myself (not a copy protected disk) the capture freezes, always at 63%.
This then makes the DVD drive unresponsive - it won't even eject the DVD. I have to restart my computer to use the DVD drive again.
I've never had this problem before - any ideas?
Capture error - always stops at 63%

Trevor -- he doesn't tell us what version of VS he has. Inserting .vob files into VS only worked with VS10. It doesn't work with VS11 or previous versions.
marcus -- if you can copy the DVD to hard disc, then you can try either using the VS importing feature from there. If that doesn't work, then you change the extension of the .vob files to .mpg and that usually works. Then simply open those mpg files in VS.
