DVD Menu

Post by PZJM »

Hi folks, I just made my first movie using VS11 and everything looks great except that all my movies and slideshows transition into each other. Is there a setting during Create DVD that allows me to return to the menu after each move/slideshow?

Thanks...

On the burning screen, click on the middle of the three icons in the bottom left of screen. Towards the bottom of the box that appears, there will be a tick in the little box beside 'Auto repeat when disc playback ends'. Untick it. Now the words in the drop-down menu below that will become active. And if you click on it, you can choose Return to Menu.

That means that if you have a main menu page with several items/thumbnails on it, and you choose one of them, when that title is finished, you will be returned to the main menu.

However, if you click on the Play button which is normally down in the bottom right of the menu somewhere, that means 'Play All', and as far as I am aware, once you click on that, all the titles on the disc will play one after the other and you will only be returned to the menu when all have played.

Thanks for the response. I'll give it a try tonight. By the way, this application is a real pleasure to work with compared to ROXIO. You may not have all the functionality but the process time and ease of maneuvering is much better.

Thanks....
