where is scan icon in PI12?
where is scan icon in PI12?
When I choose Advanced mode in PI11, it creates a scan icon in Toolbar. But in PI12, I can't find it. Anyone knows this?

Until now, I still have to use PI11 because of this, PI12 takes me a lot of time to choose scanner. I have many documents to scan so I don't like to waste time uselessly. How about PIX3?vidoman wrote:Your correct on your finding. For some reason there is not a scanner icon. You access the scanner via the File menu.
In next patch for PI12, could Corel add scanner icon like PI11?

Next patch for PI-12? Sorry not going to happen..
When they release a new version, they no longer develop patches for the previous ones.
I don't understand, it takes too long to go to the File menu and select Scanner? Let's see, I guess an additional .5 secs would be a bit long..
Nope, that little icon is not in PI-X3..

ndtoan,
You can cut the time down a little in PI12 by adding the scanner command to the toolbar. Go to the Window/Customize menu item. This will bring up the customize dialog:

From there you can drag the scanner command to the toolbar:

You still have to select Scanner and then the Select Source menu item, but its a little better than going thru the File menu.
Hope that helps.

Scanner Icon
I agree with ndtoan. Having to select Scanner and then the Select Source menu item EACH TIME I want to scan is idiotic and irritating. Has nothing to do with how much time it takes. I won't be upgrading past PI11 until this is fixed in future versions. THIS WAS THE REASON I didn't upgrade to 12 and I won't be upgrading to X3 if it wasn't changed.
