Capture from DVD burner/player
Capture from DVD burner/player
Is there a way to capture from an external dvd burner / player I have attached to my computer? I normally use an external dvd player to capture but this particular dvd is not being read by the dvd player but it is being read by the Sony burner/player attached to the computer. Please help me. Thank you
Which version of MSP you are using?
Here's the process for MSP7:
DVD Capture with MSP7
1) Load DVD into computer DVD drive.
2) Check that DVD is authenticated by being able to see it in Windows
Explorer.
3) Open MSP7 Video Capture module.
4) Under Setup-select Switch Capture plugin and change to Ulead DVD-
VR plugin.
5) Hit record button
6) Initialization will complete showing thumbnails of your DVD video.
7) Manually select or select all using shift and clicking.
8) Click Finish and recording will start
9) Video Capture folder will now contain all your captured files.
10) Open MSP7 Video Editor and insert video files by navigating to
Video Capture folder.
Ready to edit.
Hope this helps.

My dvd will not play on a regular dvd player but will easily play on this burner /player on the computer. Can you help? Thank you for your time and effort.
If I were able to help, I would have done so in this thread. Nagging me by private messaging isn't going to help me work out the answer.
