Video problem - Video Studio 10 plus

Post by kadoshjesus »

Alright, I've been battliing with this for like months now.

I have Windows Vista. 400GB in Hard Drive. 1 GB in RAM. 1.8 GHz in Processor with Intel Core Duo. Intel GMA 650.

I seem to have a problem with Video Studio 10 Plus. All I see is green lines across the preview screen. I have reinstalled Video Studio 10 plus and done everything. You name it, i've done it. So I would appreciate some help right now before I switch over to something like ADOBE PREMIERE.

I won't give up... :!: :!:

What? You don't know what kind of video you are trying to preview? Or where it came from or how you captured it???  Right click on one of the files you are trying to preview, and do so within Video Studio, when the file is in the library pane or in the timeline. Copy ALL its properties here please.

Also, I assume you realise that VS10 was written before Vista was released. There is a patch which makes it work (sort of) with Vista. Can we assume you installed that patch?

It happens with all the video no matter what kind of file it is. It happens with captured video or just any video.

I have installed all the patches for VideoStudio10+

In File > Preferences > General, what do you have set for 'Instant Playback Target'? It should be Preview Screen.
