Can I edit properties of multiselection?

Post by pml7 »

Hi there,

I created a slideshow video from many images with crossfading (100+ images). Now I found that the time each image is displayed is too short.

Is there a way to multiselect many images and change their properties (e.g. duration) at once? I do not want to select each of my 100+ images one after another...

I haven't found anything likely in the manual of faq - maybe VideoStudio does not offer that feature (useful and necessary imho)?

Thanks in advance
Volker.

thank you - this sets the default value, correct? that is a useful thing.

but what i was looking for is a possibility to change the duration of images that are already placed on the timeline. usually i find out what a "good" length is when i am working in a project - and not beforehand as a default.

any ideas?

Change the default transition duration in prefrences as said by Veal. Choose the time that meets the project needs best. If you wish to have variable timings then you need to change it for those clips

Select all your image clips in the time-line, either by selecting the first then hloding down the Shift key while you click on the last, or using the CTL+Click to select random clips. Then go to Clip>Change Image/Color Duration. Change the duration, and the duration for all clips in your time-line will be changed.
