When I set up my file preferences (using VS11+), I have selected the "show message when inserting the first video clip into the timeline", this then allows you to start smart rendering. The manual shows that I should be getting a pop-up screen asking if we want to perform smart rendering. I'm not getting the pop-up screen.
1. Should I be using smart rendering for AVCHD clips? If so, how do I active it?
