mp3 file mismatch

mp3 file mismatch
Some mp3 files i am able to add to the audio track in vs 10 while others i am getting a file mismatch error. Any ideas would be very helpful. As far as i can tell all the files are 192kbps.

Video Studio has difficulty reading some mp3 files made with particular codecs, and notably the LameMP3 codec. So if your mp3's came from a variety of sources, that is most likely your problem here.
The best solution is to use a third party audio editing software program and change the format from mp3 to standard .wav format. That always seems to work.
