Hi,
I have mini-DV tapes from a 3-camera Question & Answer shoot to promote products.
I've been asked to create a DVD with a menu, where customers can click on the FAQ of choice and see a short 1-2 min response.
I'm using Media Studio Pro 8 to create the FAQ pieces out of the 3-cam taped footage. I've defaulted to using the basic NTSC DV project settings (720x480, 29.97 ... etc).
Just not sure what output (project) format would be best for DVD mastering? Has anyone tried any other DVD-mastering app's? DVD-LAB PRO?
any opinions would certainly be appreciated.

question about mastering for DVD's...

Whilst technically this can be done with MovieFactory, you might find that DVD Workshop 2 will provide you with better results due to the flexibility that you are given in respect of creating custom made menus from scratch and play lists.
You would need to have each question/answer as a separate title (video) rather than attempting to use chapters. If you try using chapters, whilst you can jump straight to the chapter containing the answer it would then continue to play the following chapter(s) until reaching the end.
By using each answer as a separate title you would play the answer (title) and then return to menu.
