Windows Media Player and Fraps
Iam tring to capture a "visualisation" from Windoows Media Payer as it plays a track with fraps and use it as a background in VS11+ but it will not record it,any ideas please. Ken

Perhaps you might have more luck with Camtasia Studio This is the software several of us now use for creating our forum tutorials.

Another option is to try disabling or lowering hardware acceleration (Right Click Desktop>Properties>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot), Camtasia will do this for you, but none of the other screen capture programs I have tried do. If you don't do this, more often than not you'll just get a black screen in your recording when trying to record from media players/web players.
