convert vsp video file to use in powerpoint WMV HD NTSC

I am making a powerpoint pres. of video clips that will be shown through a projector onto a screen.
I did search this topic as suggested to me in a previuos post and the suggestions to convert to wmv. (320 X 240) is the only suggested format that my powerpoint will play.
And that I am afraid will be to small.
I experimented with " WMV HD NTSC (1280 X 720)" in VS10 share and this rendered file plays and looks great in powerpoint 2007 while viewing on pc.
I do not have acsess to the projector that will be used untill the day of presentation.
What do you think of this format ?

I would have a backup plan just in case.
