I have a Canon HG10 HD camcorder. I wonder anybody has this camcorder and using DVD movie factory 5.6 to write DVDs from the clipings??
In fact , when I transfer the clips to my PC and then join the clips and then write a 4.7GB DVD using HQ Dolby digital mode (I think this is the best quality I can write a DVD) , then when I watch the DVD, I still see the quality is not at its best.
The picture is bit shaky and not clear, as I could see from camcorder directly.
Any idea? Or am I doing anything wrong while transfering the clips to my PC? Or anything wrong with DVD write quality?
Thank you
DVD write from Canon HG10 using DVD MovieFactory 5.6
It's hard for me to suggest anything since I don't have that version of MF which comes with the HG10. I found updates to the MF5.6 program on the ulead website and posted the links on this forum. The links are also available on the Canon website to access the MF5.6 updates from ulead.
All I can suggest is to make sure you use a high data rate like 9000kbs, Upper field first and compression quality = 100% when making mpeg2 video files for dvd.

Re: DVD write from Canon HG10 using DVD MovieFactory 5.6
Not sure about the shakiness, but keep in mind that by burning HG10 content into DVD format, it will never be as clear as it is viewing it from the camcorder, as DVD is not high definition. You'd have to burn an AVCHD disk and play it on a blu-ray player in order to see it in HD.ambikas wrote:I have a Canon HG10 HD camcorder.
