Cannot edit subtitles on blu-ray project
On a blu-ray project the edit subtitles button is greyed out. Is this a bug or is it not supported.

I guess it's not supported yet, it is supported in the DVD & HD-DVD modules.
Referencing your question about "Fast Export" being greyed out.
Most likely your video is in it's native tape format which is the TS (transport stream) format. You would need to convert it to PS (program stream) format for the "Fast Export" to work properly.
Smart rendering TS stream uses a different method.
