extracting the audio from the video file and exporting

Post by kelleen »

How can I 'extract' the audio from a video clip in VS11_+, export it as a wav file so that I may manipulate it in another progam ?

1. In the Edit page, click on Split Audio, roughly centre right of screen. The sound track should detach itself and take up residence instead in one of the audio tracks in the timeline.

2. Go to Share > Create Sound File. Choose .wav as the format, give it a name, and Bob's your uncle!
