UNABLE TO ADD EDIT CHAPTERS ON UVS 11
I have been using UVS for many years with quite good results. I have done good home DVDs with version 10 but now I need to use version 11 to work with AVCHD. On my new PC ¡V a Cuore 2 Duo 2,4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, ATI X1650 Graphic card ¡V the version 11 will not Add/Edit Chapters when creating a DVD. When I chose Create a DVD, the Project or Clip showing at the left lower corner will not appear on the big screen at the right side and there is no Jog Bar. If I chose ¡§Auto Add Chapters¡¨ on the Add/Edit chapter option, an error occurs and closes UVS 11. It is strange that this problem does not happen on my older PC ¡V Pentium 4 with a ATI RADEON 8500DV Graphic Card ¡V but a slower computer. I have already installed all patches for the version 11. Can somebody help me with this bug?

Oi, Closalvi, tudo bom? Tudo joia aqui na Austrália...
Although you have installed the patches for VS11, you need to go to the Microsoft DirectX website and download the latest update patch for that. The current one is dated November 2007 and can be found at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
Note that it updates both DirectX 9.0c (XP) and 10 (Vista). The number of your DirectX installation will not change, but the patch gives extra functionality in a number of areas and corrects other faults in VS11. In particular, it seems to correct errors some users are having in the Create Chapters/Preview stage, como você.
Muito boa sorte!

THANK YOU KEN
Muito obrigado Ken,
I didn't know what to do. But now it looks like everything is working right after updating the Direct X. I like this software very much and I was not feeling good to change for a similar one.
Lets get back to work.

PS: How did you learn portuguese
