Saving DVD Menu Layout

Post by Doug Sundquist »

Using VS11 and when creating a DVD, I want to save my menu layout edits for future use - how do I do that? I'm working on a large project and I want to add video files over time but occasionally I want to burn interim copies to see how it's coming. I need to save the layout I create and like so I don't have to start over each time.
Thanks
Doug :(

On the Edit tab (next to the Gallery), pressing the Customize button will allow you to customize the layouts. In the Customize Menu look just below the preview window, to the lower left for Add to menu template. This is grayed out until you customize the menu template. Once you have done that, it becomes active. Clicking on it adds your customized menu template to the Favorites found in the Gallery drop-down menu.

If you re-position any of the thumbnails, text, ect., also should activate this button.

Any customized templates added to the Favorites, are available to select for any future DVD projects.

OK thank you, that worked. Seems a little clunky though, it would be nice to have a simple file open/save dialog somewhere.
