MF6+ Trouble

Have retail version of MF6+, Patch 2, and HD Power Pack. After burning 1 standard HD DVD on DVD-R successfully, have been unable to do it again. Used to have roxio software on my computer, therefore, restored my system to before I used MF6+ trial and videostudio trial, removed the roxio software, did a clean uninstall of MF6+, and reinstall of MF6+.

When reinstalling MF6+, it said it was installed successfully, but when I pressed finish and restarted my computer and logged on, it said "1670".
(Said this on initial install too, but it did work well for 1 session of burning HD DVD on DVD-R). Pressed "OK" and proceeded to use the program.

Was able to capture HDV video OK from Canon HV20 camcorder, cut the clip to about 22 minutes, but when I get to the burn stage using 4x burn speed, it renders for over 6 hours without making over 3% of total progress. Top line says Convert Title 3%, bottom line says Converting Video of Title 2% after 6 hours. Tried to cancel, but the program does not respond. Have to close it with windows task manager.

I don't know what to do next.

Graphics card is ATI 256MB Radeon X1300 pro

Found some residual roxio folders, which I removed. Did another clean reinstall of MF6+,patch 2, and HD power pack. Still have same problem. Video captures fine, able to edit and add menus, but at 3rd step will not render. Time continues for hours and I detect hard drive activity, but stuck on 0% progress on bottom line and and 3% progress on top line for rendering progress. Seems to be some endless loop. Can't even cancel the program at that point except through task manager. But then unable to close task manager . Have to just turn off the computer.

Any suggestions on what to do next? Does quicktime, real player, or AVS DVD Player conflict with MF6+? Should I uninstall these programs? Is there any way to find out what if anything is conflicting with MF6+?
