Failed to connect to driver : USB 2820 Video

Post by carla »

Hi, I keep getting this error message in MF6. I had no problems capturing from this device using MF4, however since upgrading I have had no end of problems with MF6.

Urgent advice would be very very helpful!

Have installed the fix #2, and nothing has changed, still can't achieve what I could with MF4.

Regards
Carla

You may need to use MF4 for the capture step.

If your capture device came with MF4, it may have been an SE version (Special Edition) that was tweaked to work with your hardware.

You are generally better off using the capture software that came with your capture hardware. Analog video-capture hardware, drivers, and software don't seem to be standardized, and sometimes unrelated capture hardware and software just don't work together. :(
